As of September 1, 2009, The MSF Motorcycle Basic RiderCourse is required to obtain a motorcycle endorsement (Class M).

Effective September 1, 2017, The fee for the Basic Rider Course will be $250.00 as per State Contract .

On February 4, 2017 Keep It on 2
began teaching the Updated Basic Rider eCourse.
The updated material requires each student to complete the 3 1/2 hour online MSF eCourse before Day One of their scheduled class date.

The Texas Department of Public Safety License Division has reinstated the written knowledge test. This test is mandated and will be administered during the curriculum.  Failure of the knowledge test or the on-cycle evaluation or not satisfactorily completing a phase of the course is considered a failure for the entire course.

This is a group of motorcyclists who ride from 2-6 hours on Sunday. They depart from a location in Edinburg and ride to a destination where they grab a bite to eat, and then head home. Range only program for riders who are licensed and who wish to practice and refine their basic riding skills.

Both classes, riders use their own personal motorcycle and demostration proficiency in exercise 1, Control at low Speeds. 

All motorcycles must pass T-CLOCS Inspection. Please note, that your passenger for the above two courses (BRC2 - BRC2-SP) are allowed to ride with you, as long as the motorcycle is equipped to carry passenger and the passenger meets state requirments.

* D.O.T- Compliant Helmet ( loaners available )
*  Eye-protection (face shield on helmet, goggles, sunglasses, or  eyeglasses)
* Sturdy over-the-ankle footwear  (shoes or boots)
* Long, non-flare pants (denim or equivalent or more durable material)
* Long-sleeve shirt, jacket or rain gear
* Full-fingered gloves ( loaners available )
We will provide you with the MSF Coupon Code, Student Handbook and a entry level motorcycle (125cc or 250cc) to learn on.

BRC2- License Waiver: Fee $ 250.00

Classroom and Riding program for (EXPERIENCE) riders, who wish to earn a motorcycle license or endorsement; riders who are already licensed may also participate in this course e2x3x5.

This course includes, formal Knowledge and Skill Tests.
